Project Connect- A Day of Hope is a project of Our Place Society as part of Homelessness Action Week October 13, 2017.

Project Connect offers those in need the opportunity to enjoy services such as ID replacement, foot care, hair cuts, bike repair, professional photographs, live music with a barbeque lunch.

It is a day of information too with representatives from Government and Social Service Agencies availble to answer questions about housing, treatment options, welfare cheque distribution, health-related concerns and more.

As we move into the winter months, the need for backpacks, warm winter wear and toiletry items is great; your contribution can have a big impact on the lives of the most vulnerable among us.

If you are interested in organizing a collection for Project Connect or if you would like more information, please contact Tracy Campbell via e-mail at:

TracyC@ourplacesociety.com or by telephone at 250-388-7112 ext. 259.
