 plorer!\n\nExplorer’s Weekend is a unique opportunity for those who are 
 seriously discerning theological education to:\n\nSit in on real theology 
 classes\nConnect with VST faculty\, students\, and other discerners\nRefle
 ct your calling deeply through both personal and communal discernment\nDi
 scover what it’s really like to be a student at a theological school com
 mitted to showing up—in community\, in justice\, and in faith.\n\nLast y
 ear\, we welcomed 19 discerners from the US and Canada to the Explorer’s
  Weekend. This year\, you might be one of them!\nThe 2025 VST Explorer’s
  Weekend includes participation (for free) the 2025 Somerville Lecture. Th
 is years lecturer is Sarah Miles\, an author whose books include Take This
  Bread: A Radical Conversion\; Jesus Freak: Feeding Healing Raising the De
 ad\, and City of God: Faith in the Streets. She served as Director of M
 inistry at St. Gregory of Nyssa Episcopal Church in San Francisco for ten 
 years and is the founder and director of The Food Pantry.\nHer lecture is 
 titled Solidarity Forever: Faith and Politics. and workshop titled The Psa
