All are welcome to join the conversation. - Sunday, September 22, 2019

Sunday Morning Text Study RESUMES!  - Join Pastor Aneeta and a faithful group of spirited conversationalists as we informally gather over a cup of coffee or tea and the texts for the morning. Over the past year, it has been a wonderful and spiritually grounding way to enter into the gospel and discover how God lives and breathes in our world right now.  We'll discuss the texts and spend some time in Lectio Divina together.  9:15 am to 9:45 am ALL ARE WELCOME

Blackberry Festival Set-Up

Friday, September 27, 2019

Hi Everyone,

Here it is Wednesday evening and we have a week and a half to go until St. Mary’s Blackberry Festival or “ BFG" (Big Friendly Gathering!). Thank you to everyone who has offered to help in the various areas on  Saturday, September 28th. We are still in need of volunteers in the kitchen, selling jams/jellies, selling baking, welcoming our guests, selling tickets for pies or the Tea and scones. If you are able to help in any way please let me  or Willi know. If you have any questions or concerns we will try to answer them.

just a few notes, reminders and dates:

• Newspaper and Used Plastic Bags

Helen McArthur is in need of newspaper for wrapping the frozen pies in and also used plastic bags for people who have not brought their own bags for carrying their purchased pies home . If you have any of these items, please bring them into the church during the week or on Sunday.

• Set Up

We will be setting up the church for the festival on Friday, September 27 at 4:00 p.m. . We will be setting chairs and tables for tea, tables for baking, jams and jellies, putting up signs etc.. Hope to see you there.

• Baking

There are still some berries available if you need any for baking.
Baking for the sale should dropped off at church on Friday , September 27 at 4:00 p.m. or on Saturday, September 28th at 9:00 a.m. at the latest. so they can be priced and set out on the Baking tables.

• Jams and Jellies

Please bring your jars into the Altar Guild room in the church. The tables will be set out after church this Sunday. Elinor and Linda will be labelling and placing items on the tables on Friday. Thank you

•Take Down

We will be taking down tables and chairs and returning the church to its usual configuration after closing the Festival around 2:00 p.m. If you are able to help at that time it would be very much appreciated. Many hands make it happen more quickly.

Thanks again. See you on Sunday.
