Blackberry Festival – Volunteers Needed!
The St Mary’s Blackberry Festival returns on Saturday, October 3, and we’re excited to once again bring our community together for one of our largest fundraising events of the year.
To make this wonderful event a success, we need volunteers at every stage—from summer berry picking to helping on festival day. If you would like to be part of the organizing committee, please contact helen.mcarthur@morello.ca. An organizing committee meeting will be scheduled later this month.
We are looking for volunteers to help with:
- Berry picking (throughout the summer)
- Pie Production Day (Saturday, September 26)
- Bake Sale
- Preserve Sales
- Festival Café
Whether you can give a few hours or take on a larger role, every contribution makes a difference and is greatly appreciated. The Blackberry Festival is always a fun and rewarding experience, and we'd love to have you join us.
