We are excited to invite you to our Annual General Meeting at 7 p.m. Sunday May 7, 2017 at Saint Mary of the Incarnation Church 4125 Metchosin Road.
We are very pleased to have as a guest speaker Dr. Richard Hebda who recently retired from the Royal BC Museum. He will speak on Climate Change: Crossing a Threshold and How We Can Adapt. Richard is a very engaging and enthusiastic speaker and has a special interest in local food and growing heritage varieties of vegetables.
You will also hear about the current and planned activities of the
Metchosin Foundation. We have been very active this year in providing resources to support environmental education in local schools and are partnering with the Habitat Acquisition Trust to bring a Good Neighbours Program to Metchosin in 2017/18 to help landowners in our community conserve the natural values on the land.
