Mitten Family Update

Greetings beloved community,

I have just received an update from Marlene and wanted to share it.

Russ is starting to progress nicely. He has been moved once again to the 6th floor of the south tower, room 615, bed C. He has a window seat which helps his orientation. Physio has been more consistent so I hope he will start to show some strength improvement. He is definitely ready for some visitors. The visiting hours are 11am–1pm and 3pm–9pm.

Additionally, the Mitten home had a flood on Christmas Eve which has resulted in some remediation work. They are moving out of their house today and will be staying in an Air BnB in Langford while the work is being done. They expect 2 weeks, so we will pause the meal train delivery of food to their house. However, gift cards via email seems to be what is working the best for them right now. You can do this directly with vendors or through the Meal Train link.  

Again additionally, Rachel has been mostly off work as she has been sick, and Logan has a dental procedure today.
